The newest version of LEED (LEED v4.1 O+M), released as a beta test in March 2018, aims to get more existing buildings and interior spaces engaged in benchmarking sustainability performance and certifying with LEED. By fully integrating the Arc platform for performance reporting and benchmarking, and by including notable changes to energy and water performance scoring, LEED v4.1 O+M is expected to have an impact not just on commercial real estate but on residential and industrial buildings as well. This presentation will provide an overview of the new rating system and explain the many opportunities and risks that LEED v4.1 is expected bring.
